When you place an order or contact us, we collect the following information: your name, email address, shipping address (country, postal code, prefecture, city, street address, and building name), telephone number, and order details. Payment information such as your credit card number is collected and managed directly by our payment processor (Stripe, Inc.) without passing through our servers. We never store your card number.

We use the personal information we collect only for the following purposes: (1) shipping products and managing orders and inventory; (2) processing payments; (3) responding to inquiries and providing after-sales support; (4) confirming order details and sending important notices; (5) preventing fraudulent orders and misuse; (6) complying with applicable laws; and (7) maintaining and improving our services.

To the extent necessary to achieve the purposes above, we outsource certain operations to the following service providers and share the information required for those operations.

We take necessary and appropriate security measures to prevent the leakage, loss, or damage of the personal information we handle, including access controls and encryption of communications (SSL/TLS). Where we outsource the handling of personal information, we exercise the necessary supervision to ensure that equivalent measures are in place at the outsourced provider.

We retain personal information for the period necessary to achieve the purposes of use. Order-related information is kept in accordance with the retention periods required for transaction records and by applicable laws (such as tax law and the Electronic Books Preservation Act). Once retention is no longer necessary, we promptly delete the information or anonymize it in a manner that cannot be reversed.

At your request, we will respond to requests to notify you of the purpose of use, to disclose, correct, add to, or delete your retained personal data, and to suspend its use or its provision to third parties. We use cookies and similar technologies to temporarily hold items for purchase, to remember your language preference, and to improve our services. Our payment processor (Stripe) may also use cookies for payment processing. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some features may then become unavailable.
