Terms of Service

These terms apply to the relationship between this site (Torecaneko) and you with respect to the sale of products and related services provided by this site. By using this site, you are deemed to have agreed to these terms.

An order is formed at the moment you complete the purchase process, your payment is completed, and this site receives notification of the completed payment from the payment processor. Actions such as pressing "Buy now" reserve the item for a limited time (30 minutes) only; at that point, no contract of sale has been formed. After the reservation period expires, the item may be sold to another customer.

All listed items are one-of-a-kind. Because we sell through multiple channels at the same time, an item may become unavailable depending on the timing of your order.

If an item turns out to be sold out after you order, we will cancel your order and promptly refund the full amount you have paid through the payment processor. Refunds are, in principle, made to the payment method you used. With respect to a cancellation due to a sold-out item, our liability shall not exceed the amount refunded.

The payment method and timing are as set out in our Legal Notice (Japan).

Payment is made by credit card through the payment processor designated by this site (Stripe). If payment is not completed successfully, we cannot accept your order. Where there is suspicion of fraudulent use, this site may verify, hold, or cancel the order.

After confirming your payment, we ship products within the period stated in the Legal Notice (Japan). Delivery is carried out by a shipping carrier selected by this site. For overseas deliveries, customs duties, import consumption tax, clearance fees, and the like may be charged in the destination country, and these are the responsibility of the customer. Shipping may be delayed due to natural disasters or other unavoidable circumstances.

Whether returns and exchanges are accepted, and the applicable conditions, are as set out in our Legal Notice (Japan).

In using this site, you must not engage in any of the following: (1) conduct that violates laws or public order and morals; (2) registering false information; (3) placing orders or making payments by fraudulent means; (4) infringing the rights of this site or any third party; (5) placing an excessive load on this site’s systems or gaining unauthorized access; or (6) any other conduct that this site reasonably deems inappropriate.

We strive to provide accurate information in our product descriptions and images, but we are not responsible for minor differences that may arise from the nature of the products, such as variations in color due to your monitor. Except in cases of our intentional misconduct or gross negligence, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site. Even in such cases, our liability is limited to the price of the product in question.

Copyright and other intellectual property rights in the product images, descriptions, logos, and other content on this site belong to this site or to their rightful owners. You may not reproduce, republish, or make secondary use of them without the permission of the rights holder. Rights in the characters and the like included in the products belong to their respective rights holders.

We may change these terms as necessary. The revised terms take effect once posted on this page. For significant changes, we will provide notice by appropriate means, such as an announcement on this site. If you use this site after the change, you are deemed to have agreed to the revised terms.

These terms and your use of this site are governed by the laws of Japan. In the event of a dispute between this site and you regarding your use of this site, the Sapporo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance.
